01.20 – Monday!!!

Welcome to Week 2 of the #800gChallenge! And it’s a BONUS POINT DAY!

PUT GRAMS IN THE BANK AT BREAKFAST

To be sustainable, the #800gChallenge® requires consistently making better choices throughout the day. If you are having a hard time hitting that 800g total, how does breakfast look? By putting 200-300g grams “in the bank” at breakfast, you are setting yourself up for success and flexibility later in the day. Read more here.

WHAT ABOUT KIDS AND THE #800gCHALLENGE?

So, on the basis of calories alone, the #800gChallenge is “ok” for kids of almost all ages. But forcing kids into nutrition rules isn’t a great idea. The good news is the #800gChallenge is INCLUSIVE, but the goal should always be staying flexible and making nutrition fun with kids. See here for more information on applying it for kids. Definitely check out the comments, too. Lots of good advice!
