Now that the 800g challenge is complete and you’ve made healthy habits to better your daily diet, we are moving on to the next progression. Lazy macros. You’ll continue eating 800g of vegetables and fruit per day with an additional focus on protein.

Generally, the range of protein is 0.7-1.0 grams of protein per pound of body weight a day (g pro/lb bw*d). As an athlete protein is extremely important. Protein stabilizes blood sugar and provides energy/fuel for workouts. It also plays a key role in proper muscle recovery and growth, amongst many other things.
