Coach Colin has been an athlete and competitor his whole life and has now truly found his passion with CrossFit. He has an extensive coaching background with experience in high-level competition programming and Olympic weightlifting. He is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer and is currently planning on gaining his Level 3 CrossFit certification and pursuing a position with the CrossFit Seminar Staff to help certify other CrossFit coaches. Colin is CrossFit Intensify West’s head coach and CrossFit Intensify’s Head Competition Coach. Over 5 years ago, Coach Zach helped found CrossFit Intensify and bring this life-changing program to Eugene and Springfield. Since then he has helped hundreds of people achieve their health and fitness goals. As a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer and holder of specialty certifications such as kettlebells and goal-setting, Coach Zach is also one of CrossFit Intensify’s directors of coaching and programming, beginners coach, and head nutrition coach. He loves teaching and coaching CrossFit beginners, and is especially passionate about proving that anyone, no matter their fitness level, can achieve life-changing results with CrossFit.

Coach Andrew Crippen

Coach Crippen began his coaching career in football following his success in high school athletics, but he truly found his passion for coaching when he found CrossFit. Coach Crippen helped start CrossFit Intensify over 5 years ago in a garage. Since then he’s coached hundreds of people in CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting and helped them achieve new heights as athletes. Coach Crippen is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer and CrossFit Intensify’s head Olympic lifting instructor with a specialty certification in Olympic weightlifting. Not only does he lead CrossFit Intensify’s Sunday Olympic lifting club, but he also coaches the CrossFit Intensify’s Olympic Lifting Clinics. Ben Stoneberg, the 2014 Reebok CrossFit Games 9th-place finisher, describes Coach Crippen as “one of the best lifting coaches I’ve ever been around.” Coach Crippen loves coaching Olympic weightlifting and now offers one-on-one coaching to help CrossFit Intensify athletes reach new goals and continue breaking personal records.

KristenCoach Kristen Tucker

Coach Kristen has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. After obtaining her Exercise Science degree from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, GA, she owned and operated a personal training business specializing in sustainable weight management and pain free mobility from 2004-2011. In 2008 she began practicing CrossFit at a local Atlanta affiliate and immediately fell in love with its diverse approach and methodology. After moving to Colorado in fall of 2011, Kristen obtained her CrossFit Level 1 certification and coached classes at CrossFit Red until she purchased the facility in the spring of 2012.   CrossFit Red was born into CrossFit WestCo with a new location in downtown Grand Junction, Colorado, which Coach Kristen owned and operated until December 2014. She then relocated to Eugene, Oregon where she began coaching with us at CrossFit Intensify!

Kristen is certified in Clinical Subtle Muscle Testing and Assisted Yoga Stretching from Thai Massage under Dr. Camden Clay D.C., and Dr. Shawne Murray, D.O., who she apprenticed under for 3 years in Atlanta. When she is not coaching CrossFit, Kristen offers private bodywork sessions and teaches workshops in Targeted Muscle Testing and Quick Self Fixes.

With her tremendous experience and wide array of expertise, Coach Kristen is a great resource for anyone looking to not only improve their fitness but also their overall health and wellness by learning to move better, gain mobility and take a holistic approach to their exercise.
