Bar-facing Burpee, Thruster – Saturday

Brandi joined CrossFit Intensify in October 2011 (middle, top photo). This was her just a few weeks ago (right, bottom photo). She’s down 30 pounds and her body composition is rapidly changing too. When she first started she had a hard time doing full squats and deadlifts. Now she’s achieving great form and getting big PRs, constantly improving in her workouts. We’re proud of her! Keep up the good work Brandi! (CFI members! If you have some progress photos, we’d love to see them, and with your approval we’d love to share them! Inspire others with your success!)

Saturday’s WOD

As many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minute:

  • 12 bar-facing burpees
  • 6 thrusters (95/65 lbs)

A=75/55, B=55/35, C=35/15  or pvc

Feasters! Today at 12:00 at the Box is a Feast Nutrition Meeting with Rachel. Please come meet up with Rachel and your fellow Feasters. Talk shop, share support, get some good coaching from Rachel, answer your questions, and get ready for another great week of Feast!

The CrossFit Intensify End-of-Summer BBQ/Potluck and Scavenger Hunt is tonight, Saturday, 5:30-10:00pm at Gilham City Park behind Gilham Elementary in North Eugene. Big thanks to our co-hosts, Pat and Scott Ahrens and Pouty McGhee. In honor of Pouty McGhee, everyone must wear their clothes backwards for this special event! :)

Please RSVP to tonight’s BBQ/Potluck so Pat knows how many hungry mouths to expect. RSVP to the Facebook event page, in Intense Friends, or message Pat Ahrens (541-510-3671). Please bring a healthy dish for the potluck!

If you can’t make it at 5:30, let us know when you’re coming. If you can’t stay the entire time, that’s ok, come kick back with us for as long as you can! It’s a great chance to meet your fellow CrossFitters and chow down on some amazing food while you’re at it! Plus the Scavenger Hunt is sure to be a blast!
