- 15 sumo deadlift high-pulls (75/55 lbs)
Every class today will start with a fun group warm-up. Then, for the WOD we’ll pair up and go in 2 heats whenever possible so everyone can have an official counter and judge. Let’s get those double unders today!
Reminder: Friday July 13th, Patrick will lead workouts at 7:30, 8:30, & 9:30 am and then 4:30, 5:30, & 6:30 pm at the Box. All other sessions are canceled. Saturday at 9:00am Justin and Ryan are hosting a track workout at the Sheldon track and turf field. All Saturday sessions at the Box are canceled this weekend.
Wednesday was Team Intensify’s media and reception day. Thursday will be orientation and practice at the Home Depot Center (hopefully). The action starts Friday at 9:00am for the teams (again, hopefully).
Meanwhile the individual competitors were shocked to find out that their competition started Wednesday, not Friday. The individuals had to complete a triathlon-like race, obstacle course at Camp Pendleton military base, and standing broad jump skill test to kick off the Games Wednesday. We also want to a give a big shout out to Holly Arrow, another Eugene CrossFitter competing at the Games! She’ll be fighting to get on the podium in the Masters 55-59 division! Their workouts start Friday. Go Holly!
