Tuesday’s WOD

With a partner, go for time:

  • 5 partner clean & jerks (185/135 lbs)
  • Row 1000 m (250 m intervals)
  • 5 partner C & Js
  • 80 kettlebell swings / Deadlift hold
  • 5 partner C & Js
  • 80 jumping lunges / Goblet Squat hold
  • 5 partner C & Js
  • 200 double unders

Divvy up the reps however you like. If a hold position is listed, one partner must maintain that hold while the other is working, otherwise the reps don’t count.

On Wednesday August 1st at 5:30pm we’re hosting a special fundraiser workout! The workout is part of the 27 million campaign to raise awareness and help stop human trafficking. Each month a new workout is released. The goal is to reach 27 million reps for the workout. The organizers of this fundraiser need our help to get there! For today’s WOD, grab a partner and sharpen up your communication skills! We’ll practice the partner clean & jerks and see if you and your partner can develop cues to help synchronize your movements. We’ll keep things light until your team seems to be getting the hang of things. Mix in those partner clean and jerks with tons of other fun stuff and you guys are going to have a blast!

Don’t worry. Andrew and I tested this workout for you guys. Only our version was a little harder and included muscle-ups. Good times! We shot a little preview of today’s clean & jerks for you. Enjoy! :D
