05.27 – Monday Memorial Day Murph!!!

Memorial Day classes times are as follows, all other classes are canceled for the holiday.

MOHAWK: 8:30 am, 10:00 am, and 4:30 pm

WEST: 8:30 am, 10:00 am, 3:30 pm, and 5:00 pm

Join each location after the last WOD for a potluck! Bring your favorite side and come hang out! This will be a great time to celebrate the freedoms we have and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us.

Join us for a special tribute workout to America’s fallen heroes. Don’t be intimidated by the full Murph. Many of you will be scaling it, doing half, quarter or partnering with a friend and splitting the work. It’s a great workout for everyone!

This workout helps us remember our troops. It’s tough, but it’s nothing compared to their sacrifice. To learn more about Murph and his story, please CLICK HERE. There have been many movies and documentaries about Murph. Check out “Murph the Protector” and “Lone Survivor.”

05.26 – Sunday Oly Club & Brenton

Sunday Oly Club at Mohawk at 9:00, then our weekly Sunday Hero WOD at Mohawk at 10:00!

Field Training Officer Timothy Quinn Brenton, 39, of the Seattle Police Department, was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting while on duty on October 31, 2009.

Oly club is open to ALL CFI members and ALL skill levels. It’s a great way to work on your technique and strength!

If you want results, you have to put in the work! Grab your favorite gym buddy and head to the box Saturday morning for our partner WOD!

Bring-a-friend FREE Saturday Partner workouts at West at 8:00 or 9:00 and at Mohawk at 8:00, 9:00, or 10:00. Don’t have a partner? Come in anyways! We’ll partner you up with someone or give you a great solo version of the workout.

05.24 – Friday!!!

The Northwest Fit Games is back for the 5th year with The Deschutes Demolition competition! This event will take place on June 8th in Sunriver!
This is going to be an awesome RX or Scaled partner competition, and it would be great if we could get CFI teams put together. We’ll be fit and fresh from the Bod Pod challenge and our own CFI competition the weekend before!
Teams will be MM or FF and divisions include Rx, Scaled, and Masters! Anyone 18 and older is encouraged to sign up!
Haven’t competed before? Not a problem! Now is the perfect time to sign up and test yourself. Grab your favorite CrossFit buddy and head over the hill to crush some WODS!

It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it! Put in the work!

***CFI Throwdown # 3 Update***

Unfortunately, we’ve had issues with the EventBrite site so please ignore the link to register.

There are now sign-up sections on the whiteboards at each gym location. To sign-up, put you and your partner’s name on the whiteboard in the appropriate section. Andrew and Colin will then manually register you. Registration fees will be taken out soon unless you’d like to pay cash. If that is the case, please send Andrew an email at contact@crossfitintensify.com

Details for next Saturday, June 1st:

-Heat 1 WOD 1 will start at 9:00am

-Athlete briefing will be at 8:00am sharp

-There will be a BBQ food truck on site as well!

Come up with a team name and let Andrew or Colin know!

If you’re still interested in participating but don’t have a partner, put your name on the whiteboard and “need partner” we’ll get you paired up.
